All You Can Eat Cheese Parties Are Coming To The UK

Hey there cheese lovers, are you looking for an event that can match your insatiable desire for cheese? Well, there's good news, because Homage2Fromage is the all-you-can-eat cheese festival that you never knew you needed.

It's a monthly cheese club that offers fromage aficionados the chance to really get stuck into their favourite types of cheese. If you live in the North of England, chances are that there will be one happening not that far from you.

They'll be happening in Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester and Harrogate, and have different themes for the different types of cheese that will be on offer.

Each one will have a guest speaker too, although who exactly that is going to be is not clear. A cheesemaker? A man who works in a dairy? Alex James from Blur? The possibilities are endless.

There will be cheese-related games as well. Any ideas?

Rug-Brie?

Well, you come up with something then.

The themes of the parties will range from specifically cheddar, as well as regional cheese. Of course, no cheese party would be complete without a selection of pickles, cheese biscuits, and wine.

Nick, the co-founder of Homage2Fromage, explained to The Metro: "The aim of the club is to celebrate great cheese in an informal fun way - this is not about snobby cheese and wine tastings, it is about sharing one of the greatest foods ever, in a simple, relaxed way.

"Homage2Fromage helps you discover new cheese, meet like-minded cheese fans and hear some of the amazing stories behind cheese and cheesemaking."

He continued: "'If you are passionate about cheese, curious about the many different kinds of cheese out there, how it's made, where it comes from, who makes it, why something so simple can be so diverse, so versatile, so delicious - then this is the club for you."

Even if you're not - if you just like to eat a whole heap of cheese, eat biscuits, and drink wine, it sounds like the club for you.

It's got to be better than doing it sat in front of Britain's Got Talent right?

There is one rule, though.

Nick explained that he and his Homage2Fromage co-founder Vickie like to start the evening off by shouting 'Cheese!' as loud as they can before their guests are able to choose which of their impressive selection they would like to have a crack at.

Their cheeses don't come labelled, they are simply given a number and then explained to you as the evening goes on.
