B&M Is Selling Strawberry And Mint After Eights That Sound Perfect For Summer

Definitely one to add to the basket next time you're out for your essential food shop

If there's one after-dinner chocolate that's iconic, it's the After Eight. It comes in a special little black pouch, so even as a child you knew it had to be special when your grandma busted a box open.

Traditionally, the treat is made of dark chocolate with a mint-flavoured fondant tucked up inside, but these days, you can sometimes also get your hands on different flavours.

B&M has confirmed to LADbible that Nestlé's limited edition Strawberry & Mint version of the popular treat, which is normally only sold in Germany, is currently available in their stores. I can see it going perfectly with a Pimm's this summer.

The fruity After Eights will set you back £1.99 ($2.48) for a 200g box.

After Eights are a staple at Christmas.

While you can't buy them on the B&M website, they are available to purchase in store - just remember to pick some up next time you're there for your essential shop, rather than making a journey especially to get them.

With some shops currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, you can use B&M's store locator if you want to double check your local shop will be open before venturing out.

If you'd prefer to buy online, food website GB Gifts is also selling the Strawberry & Mint After Eights too.

The 200g boxes are imported for Germany and cost £3.99 ($4.97), with an extra £2.99 ($3.73) for delivery.

The online product description reads: "Summer is fruity. After Eight Mint & Strawberry reissues the British classic. The wafer-thin tablets made from delicious dark chocolate are filled with refreshing peppermint fondant, which is refined here with a fruity strawberry taste. Enjoy these chocolates whenever you want - because somewhere it's always after eight."

If you do decide to get yours from B&M while out for the weekly shop, you could also look out for some Cadbury Dream bars.

That's right, this is not a drill: B&M recently confirmed to LADbible that the sophisticated white chocolate treat is now available in their stores for the princely sum of £2.99 ($3.70) for an 180g bar.

You may remember when the chocolate launched back in 2002 - before it disappeared just a few years later, much to our dismay.

But now you can be reunited with your white chocolate bar of choice, which was spotted by an excited shopper and snack reviewer just a couple of days ago.

John's Snack Reviews shared a photograph of the beloved chocolate on Instagram, writing: "Cadbury Dream! Now available at B&M for £2.99 for a 180g Bar!"

£2.99 may seem a bit pricey compared to other chocolate bars on the market, but come on... This is one of your childhood favourites we're talking about.

You can't put a price on nostalgia, eh?
