Cadbury Dream Bars Are Back On Sale In The UK At B&M

B&M has confirmed that the elusive chocolate bars, usually only available in overseas, are being sold in their UK stores

After more than a decade, Cadbury's Dream bars are finally back on UK shores.

This is not a drill. B&M has confirmed to LADbible that the sophisticated white chocolate treat is now available in their stores for the princely sum of £2.99 ($3.70) for an 180g bar.

It was one of those few chocolate bars that lived up to the hype and its name when it launched in 2002. But for some reason it didn't prove popular enough and vanished just a few years later.

The Dream is back in the UK.

However, now the long wait is finally over. You might want to hurry to sample the rare chocolate treat, however, as B&M said the bars are unlikely to be a permanent fixture on their shelves.

Excitement grew when a photograph was posted on social media by John's Snack Reviews, showing the iconic bar sat alongside packs of Mars and Snickers.

In the post, John says: "Cadbury Dream! Now available at B&M for £2.99 for a 180g Bar!"

And while £2.99 seems a bit steep for a solitary chocolate bar, it's almost half what some foreign websites have been charging customers to get their hands on them.

Last year, it was reported that a rather savvy company in South Africa, called Sanza, was selling the bars and shipping them out to customers all over the world.

And those eager enough to get that velvety choc treat in their mouth once more, had to dig deep, with an 180g bar costing a staggering £4.85 ($6), while a 50g bar cost £1.80 ($2.25).

That £2.99 isn't looking too bad now, is it? OK, it is, but look on the bright side, the Cadbury Dream is back!!

It's safe to say that the exciting news has gone down an absolute storm with fans, many of whom have taken to social media to share their utter joy at its return.

Writing on Twitter, one person said: "Just found out Cadbury's Dream chocolate bars have made a comeback and it feels like Christmas."

A second commented: "@bmstores have you really got Cadbury dreams in stores???? I saw a picture on Twitter and I need to know ASAP."

It's been a busy old time for Cadbury fans of late. Last month, the confectionery giant announced that after 50 long years it was changing its iconic logo, with the lettering now more streamlined and no longer at its iconic angle.

With it being rolled out across the world, starting in Australia, the new design won't reach the UK until some time in 2021, so traditionalists out there still have time to stock up before the big change.
