Lindt Launching New Salted Caramel Lindor Flavour To Their Range

We all deserve a lockdown treat

I'm going to make a bold statement here - Lindt chocolate is made in heaven by angels and then sent down for us mere mortals. We don't deserve it.

But the Swiss based chocolatier has gone one step further and have added a salted caramel truffle to its already outstanding range.

The chocolatey balls of joy are available in stores now and will only set you back a fiver in Tesco or Morrisons for a 200g box.

If you can't get a delivery slot still, it might be worth throwing them in the trolley on your weekly shop. Don't quote me on this but they are almost certainly classed as essential (in my opinion, anyway).

If you want to buy in bulk, you can even get them on Amazon, straight to your front door. What a treat.

They were spotted on the newfoodsuk Instagram page, where fans, predictably, were right into the idea of salted caramel flavoured Lindor.

One person replied: "My god! Salted caramel?!?! Oh no, game and life changer haha!"

Another said: "That's chocolate heaven for you right there."

I have to say, I agree with that.

Someone else commented: "Wow, got to get these bad boys into my life."

Although, there were some important queries raised, with someone asking: "The question is, is it butterscotchy or actual salted caramel?"

Very good point, although both sound amazing to be fair.

The official description reads: "Indulge in Lindor Sea Salt Caramel - a dark chocolate shell with delicate pieces of salt, enrobing a smooth caramel flavoured centre. Perfect for sharing, or for your everyday special moments."

'To share'... Doubt it, mate.

In case you're not already sold, the salted caramel chocolate truffle balls have that melty chocolate bit, but with salt crystals, creating the creamy and salty contrast that makes them so ridiculously more-ish.

It's a yes from me.

If you're trying not to get too unhealthy while you're in lockdown, you should be aware that the whole box has more than 1,200 calories in it. Or, if you're quite happy with the ol' 'Quarantine 15' (pounds that is), then fill your boots - they're bound to be worth it.

Sounds like the perfect lockdown treat.
