McDonald's Is Launching Cheese Bites And Chicken Selects Shareboxes

They've timed the release perfectly with the World Cup coming up

Proving that life isn't all bad, McDonald's has announced it will now be selling shareboxes of tasty cheese bites and chicken selects.

I mean, the company says 'sharebox' but if you want to eat the whole thing yourself you'll get no judgement from me. In fact, I might judge you if you attempt to share it.

McDonald's

The two new share boxes are available exclusively through McDelivery, which has recently been rolled out to include over 200 restaurants, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get your greasy paws on a box.

The delicious treats are on offer from 14 June to coincide with the start of the World Cup, because is there any better way to enjoy watching athletes in peak-physical condition compete against each other than with a massive box of fried food in your hand? There's not. I'm telling you now.

The Chicken Selects sharebox comes with nine pieces of chicken and dips, whereas the Monterey Jack Cheese Melts sharebox has 15 of the delicious little buggers, plus dips. Get one, get both, get four of each - like I said, no judgement here.

To get some you'll need to use the McDelivery service, but if anything that's an added bonus because it means you don't have to move off your lazy arse. Win/win.

If that isn't enough to satisfy your hunger, then why don't you do what Maccies'-menu-hacker Paul Steele did?

For a bargain basement £6.99 - just £2.80 over the usual price - he managed to triple his breakfast muffin.

Muffin enthusiast Paul supersized his double sausage and egg McMuffin so that it featured four pork sausage patties, three eggs, three slices of cheese and two rashers of bacon.

Paul said: "At first the lady making the sandwich seemed a little bit confused but I have to say she made it beautifully."

"I reckon once this gets out it's going to cause a craze all across the country.

"It's something I'll probably be remembered for in years to come.

"They may even name it the McMuffin of Steele." They bloody should do, pal.

Explaining how the idea came to him, he added: "I went in feeling super hungry and that's when I had the idea to just keep adding extra bacon, patties, eggs and cheese.

"It just came to me - it was like when Newton discovered gravity."

Please Paul, don't be ridiculous. It's far more important than that.
