A woman has opened up on the terrifying moment she came face to face with the knife-attacker on the London-bound train, where 11 people have been left injured.
Police officers and emergency services were called to Huntingdon station on Saturday (1 November) following reports of multiple stabbings on board a 6.25pm train service from Doncaster to London King’s Cross.
Cambridgeshire Police were able to arrest two people within eight minutes of receiving the first 999 call.
"A 32-year-old man, a black British national, and a 35-year-old man, a British national of Caribbean descent, were both arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Both were born in the UK," the British Transport police said.

The 32-year-old man from Peterborough is now being treated as 'the only suspect' after the 35-year-old was released.
"Ten people were taken to hospital by ambulance and another person self-presented at hospital later that evening. While nine were initially believed to have life-threatening injuries, following assessment and treatment, four have been discharged and two patients remain in a life-threatening condition," they added.

Train passenger Dayna Arnold, 48, was in the same carriage as one of the attackers after she boarded at Peterborough with her friend Andy Gray, 37.
“I was going with the crowd, but then I got knocked into some seats,” the site manager from Bridlington, East Yorkshire, told The Sun.

“I looked back and saw the knifeman running, so I slid down to the floor. He came at me with the knife and I begged ‘please don’t’.
“Then something shifted in his face and he just carried on.”
Arnold, who feels 'very fortunate to still be alive', added: “Then a minute or so later he came back through, looked at me again and said ‘the devil’s not going to win’ and continued on.
“I was waiting cause I could still hear him in the carriage. I heard the doors open and ran off the train.

“I saw him take off running and then minutes later, police rushed past me and I saw him get tasered by the taxi rank.”
Gray said they were 'only on the train for about five minutes when it all kicked off'.
“The attacker was at the back end of carriage J while we were at the front. We were ordering drinks and food and stuff like that,” he recalled.
“We just heard this sudden commotion and panic of people’s voices. I looked down and saw this huge knife plunging into people.
“I got out of the seat and grabbed Dayna to get her out, but her bag strap got caught on the seat.

“The wall of people that were panicking swept me away and we were separated.”
Hertfordshire Police said in an update yesterday that 'there is nothing to suggest the incident at Huntingdon Station is terror related'.
