Oporto Is Bringing Back Its Incredible Chicken And Halloumi Burger

The Halloucken is back, baby!

When the 'Halloucken' debuted last year, people were whipped into a frenzy.

It was the first time Oporto had created a triple stacked chicken and Halloumi burger and the reaction was pretty understandable.

For those uninitiated, the Halloucken includes 'three pieces of delightfully squeaky Halloumi imported directly from Cyprus, a freshly grilled 100% chicken breast fillet, creamy mayo, mixed lettuce leaves with a tomato and capsicum relish all on an incredibly soft potato bun'.

To be honest, it's delicious.

It sold out its entire stock within weeks and the Portuguese-style chicken fast food company was left scratching their heads about when it could return.

But my friends, we have some good news for you.

Oporto is bringing the Halloucken back for another limited run and they'll hit stores around the country next week on May 12.

If you're a part of the Flame Rewards club or you order off Menulog, you'll be able to get the delicious burger in your grubby mitts now until May 19. You'll also be able to upgrade it into a meal for free, which comes with a set of small fries and a 390ml drink.

Once it arrives to the general public next week, people will be able to order it on UberEats, Deliveroo and DoorDash as well as get it in store.

So, get your stomachs ready because they won't last very long.
