Woman Who Can't Cook Makes Her Husband Eat Truly Disgusting Meals

She keeps coming up with new dishes, but almost all have the same disappointing result

In many couples, you'll find one partner who can cook and one who really just can't. But one gastromically-challenged wife insists on cooking for her husband, even though he hates it. Have a look at her skills:

The TikTok user, who goes under the handle @beclay, has built up quite the following, with people tuning in to see what bizarre dishes she's served up for her other half, Jonathan.

And they very, very, rarely end well.

For example, breakfast - it's the most important meal of the day. In one clip, to make sure her other half's morning gets off to the best possible start, she decides to treat him to some pancakes... with a twist.

Describing her process, she says: "Hey, so this morning I woke and said, 'I wanna make some pancakes,' but not just any pancakes.

"I wanted to add a little flair to them, so I added some syrup and some cinnamon."

However, the result is not what she's hoping for.

Giving his thoughts on the dish, her husband says: "You did something different with them. It tasted disgusting."

But unperturbed, she has another go at making a delicious breakfast, again falling short.

Tying to put a romantic spin on sausage and eggs, she cuts them up, spelling out the word 'love'. Cute.

But sadly, even with the addition of blueberries, Jonathan looks at the plate disappointedly and says he might have some 'later'.

And things don't get better with her attempts at Mexican cuisine.

We'll let her talk you through her process.

She says: "Hey, so this morning I thought to myself, 'What can I make that's quick?' So my brain told me, 'Do a chicken quesadilla,' so put it on the burner, added the tortilla on top, flipped it over a couple of times, just for good measure.

"Now, all you have to do is add some cheese to one side of the tortilla - use as much as you would like.

"I accidentally spilled something as I was grabbing the chicken from the can, took a quick gander at the spill and then realised that my tortilla was on fire.

"But it was just a couple of burn marks that made my tortilla look organically delicious."

Now for the moment of truth.

As her husband is presented with the finished cheese and chicken tortilla, he says: "If this is canned chicken... "

Uh oh.

And when asked if it's any good, he pulls an all-too-familiar face and says: "Not really."

But despite the pretty brutal honesty demonstrated by her husband, the would-be cook says it's all in jest.

Responding to a comment on one of her videos, she says: "Y'all Jonathan and I have a relationship that is built off of jokes and laughter. I do not take what he says personal, y'all shouldn't either."
