It's been less than a month since Call of Duty launched its battle royale match game Warzone and tens of thousands of people have already been trying to find ways to break the rules.

Game developer Infinity Ward has revealed there have been tons of bans handed out over the past few weeks.

Infinity Ward

A statement read: "We've now issued over 70,000 bans worldwide to protect #Warzone from cheaters.

"We're continuing to deploy dedicated security updates and work continues on improving in-game reporting. We'll share more details soon. We are watching. We have zero tolerance for cheaters."

Warzone has around 30 million players on it at the moment and both Infinity Ward and Activision are on the hunt for anyone who is trying to spoil the fun.

Activision warned that staff won't rest until everyone who cheats is banned.

"Simply put, there's no place for cheating," a statement read. "We recognise that there's no single solution for combating cheaters, it's a constant enforcement every day, 24/7.

"Rest assured, we're committed to ensuring a fun and fair experience for everyone."

If you've been absolutely loving the new Modern Warfare then there could be some good news on the horizon.

The studio's narrative director Taylor Kurosaki recently hinted that there's 'plenty of ground' to cover in a potential sequel.

But developers were hit with some angry messages when trio teams were eliminated from Warzone.

While fans are usually more than happy for Infinity Ward to add new modes and options to the game, the issue seems to be that Quads came at the expense of Trios.

It's not that the community didn't want Quads... but many didn't expect they would lose Trios as a result.

According to an image that briefly appeared on the Modern Warfare website before being taken down (thanks, Call Of Duty Warzone News), it looks like a Duos mode will be added to the battle royale before Season 3 ends on 2 June.

This is something Infinity Ward has previously teased, alongside five-player squads.

We can only hope.
