Pensioner Iris Jones Says ‘Love Conquers’ All As She’s Reunited With 36-Year-Old Husband

The couple got married last year but have been apart while waiting for his visa to be granted

The 82-year-old who wed a man less than half her age says ‘love conquers’ all as the pair are reunited after a year apart

Pensioner Iris Jones, got hitched to 36-year-old Egyptian Mohamed Ibriham last November, but the couple had struggled to secure a visa for him.

However, they were finally reunited after Mohamed’s visa was approved on 3 November and are delighted to be back together again.

Appearing on This Morning, Iris opened up about the moment she discovered her husband’s visa had been granted.

She said: “[I was] in Tesco, doing my shopping, in the fruit and veg aisle. Tears just poured down, I couldn’t stop crying. One of the assistants said, ‘are you alright?’ And I said, ‘’Yes, I’m just very, very happy’.”

Mohamed admitted to feeling ‘pressure’ due to people who think he is only with Iris for her money.

He told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: “I can’t explain. We have very high pressure. I can’t explain.

Some people attack us. Why? I am working… I have business administration. I’m not with Iris because I need something…. I am a rich man, I have a bungalow in Cairo.”

While Iris said: "Love conquers all. We’re going through problems now because Mohamed is adjusting to life in the west and I’m adjusting to having a man around the place.

"He is very, very tidy now, he hasn’t dropped anything on the floor, he asks if I want a cup of tea."

Mohamed then joked that his wife was ‘very, very fussy’ and admitted that she wore the trousers in the relationship, adding that she was ‘the boss’.

The couple, who hit headlines last year when Iris revealed her and her toy boy used a ‘whole tube of KY Jelly during their first sexual encounter, say they are now recognised while out and about.

She said: “He’s very popular, very famous in Sand Bay. We’ve been recognised in Bristol in a taxi. The taxi driver said, ‘Are you the KY jelly woman?’.”

And in case you’re wondering, their sex life is as active as ever, with Iris saying: “Yes, our time isn’t restricted, so we don’t need to ration ourselves. [The magic] will never go away, it’ll never be destroyed. Anyone who says to me, ‘How do you find love?’ You don’t look for love, it finds you.”

Mohamed ended the interview by telling viewers the couple will ‘be together forever’.

Better stock up on that KY Jelly then, guys.
