Harry Potter Ginny actress Bonnie Wright is expecting her first child

Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Andrew Lococo.

Announcing the news on Instagram, 32-year-old Wright shared a photo of her growing baby bump telling her followers that she and Lococo ‘can’t wait to meet’ the little one later this year.

Wright, who played Ron’s sister Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter movie franchise, shared the snaps alongside the caption: “We’re having a baby! So excited to share this beautiful land with them.

“What a wild and humbling journey pregnancy is, transforming to make space for new life. Andrew and I can’t wait to meet our baby later this year and become parents.

“It feels like they’re coming to say hello in the little rainbow orb across my belly.”

Wright and Lococo tied the knot in March last year, in an outdoor ceremony in San Juan Capistrano, California.

The eco-friendly nuptials took place on an ‘regenerative and organic farm’ and Wright kept the theme of sustainability running when she chose her dress - opting to wear a vintage gown on her big day.

And when I say vintage, I do mean, vintage - the dress dated back 100 years… oh and it was completely see-through, at least at the start.

In an interview with Brides’ magazine, she said: "I knew I wanted to wear a vintage dress. There are so many beautiful dresses already out in the world full of character and story.

"The dress didn't have the original underdress with it as it had likely perished - it being 100 years old.

"So when I was first trying it on, it was completely see-through. It was quite funny having to imagine the underdress we would end up making for it."

Wright’s good news comes just days after Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe welcomed his first child with partner Erin Darke.

The 33-year-old star announced he and Darke were expecting a baby in March.

Speaking at the time, a source close to the couple revealed: “Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting. They are absolutely thrilled, and can’t wait to become a family of three.

"They told their families and friends recently. It’s an incredibly exciting time."

It’s unclear exactly when the little one was born, but this week Radcliffe's reps told LADbible: "We can confirm that Erin Darke and Daniel Radcliffe have welcomed their first child."
