Daniel Radcliffe has welcomed his first child into the world.

Radcliffe's reps told LADbible: "We can confirm that Erin Darke and Daniel Radcliffe have welcomed their first child."

The Harry Potter star announced back in March that he and partner Erin Darke were expecting a baby.

Speaking at the time, a source close to the couple revealed: “Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting. They are absolutely thrilled, and can’t wait to become a family of three.

"They told their families and friends recently. It’s an incredibly exciting time."

Following the news, fans of the actor took to social media to congratulate the couple.

One Twitter user posted: "Congratulations to them but I feel old now."

Yeah, tell me about it.

"Harry Potter's gonna be a dad!!!" wrote someone else, clearly, overwhelmed fan.

While a third added: "Daniel Radcliffe is gonna be a dad? Why does this feel like the official thing that ends my childhood?"

And now, Radcliffe and Darke have been seen enjoying a stroll through the streets of New York with their newborn.

Paps spotted the couple walking through the Big Apple, with Radcliffe pushing the buggy.

The couple have been together for a decade, having met whilst filming on the set of Kill Your Darlings - a drama/romance flick all about the Beat Generation - back in 2013.

Radcliffe starred as the broody poet Allen Ginsberg, with Darke playing the character of Gwendolyn.

Speaking to Marie Claire back in 2015, Radcliffe opened up about the fateful day they both first locked eyes with each other.

"That's a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time," he revealed. "There's no acting going on—not from my end, anyway."

He went on to comment on the genuine connection they both felt, adding: "There's a moment when she makes me laugh, and I'm laughing as me and not as my character.

"She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble."

It's fair to say that Potterheads all over are losing their minds over the exciting news.

One Twitter user posted: "They're so cute I can't."

"So happy for them!" wrote another while a third echoed: "[I] am so happy for you two."

While many found the news beyond adorable - it's clear that others really felt their age after finding out the childhood star is now finally a father.

"Wow," revealed one fan, "it feels like the other day he was a kid, right?"

A final Twitter user added: "I feel sooo old."

Us too, us too.

Congratulations Daniel and Erin!
