A male adult actor has confirmed he underwent a surgical procedure that female film stars have revealed is rife within the industry.
Thousands of people up and down the country and across the world produce phonographic content, with top adult actors and OnlyFans earners raking in millions of pounds annually - despite the loss of PornHub visitors due to the controversial new government restrictions on porn sites in the UK.
While porn can seem like a lucrative avenue, actors experience their own personal pressures, including male actors being expected to maintain erections during long shoot days.
While some scenes can take a few minutes, some performers will be required to act for hours at a time.

So, how do they keep their penis hard for so long? Well, adult star Lena Paul said their methods were ones that people watching their work ‘would have no idea about’.
She claimed she knew some male porn stars who used injectable enhancements to maintain erections during long shoots, with her admitting some people go even further and opt to get surgery so they can stay harder for longer.

Paul explained that a lot of her peers inject themselves with Caverject, or Alprostadil, a drug indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
“When Caverject came along, and guys were injecting their d***s to the point that they were instantly hard, that was fine," the adult star said. "But you're putting an expiration date on your penis."

This is because there are so many drugs you can inject into your nether regions before they stop working.
Some who exhaust popular injectables such as Viagra, Caverject and Trimix reportedly turn to medical implants, according to Paul.
But she acknowledged that she thought there was ‘something sad’ about pressing a button to get an erection, rather than by natural, healthy means.
This so-called ‘industry secret’ has been backed up by pornographic actress Abella Danger, who said on the KFC Radio podcast that ‘so many guys in porn have mechanical d***s'.
And Dallas Steele is one of the ‘many guys’ who decided to get surgical implants.

Steele, whose real name is Jim Walker, appeared on The Gay Goods podcast back in 2021 to explain what he process entails.
He claimed the 90-minute procedure sees surgeons ‘hollowing out’ tissues from the penis that would normally house blood.
“[They] make room for the cylinders, insert two polyurethane into the penis, and then a pump and release valve in the lower scrotum, and then a reservoir deep in your abdomen,” Steele explained.
“The reservoir contains the saline, you'll never see the reservoir, it's deep inside. The only part you might see is maybe the pump depending on the angle you're in but mostly not.”

After going under the knife, the adult actor was informed he couldn’t engage in sex for four weeks.
He also confessed that his genitals hurt ‘too much to touch’ while he recovered from the medical procedure.

Steele admitted he decided to get the surgery because he’d had issues with his manhood since he was ‘about 27’.
He also claimed drugs such as Viagra and Trimix - known as the ‘steroids of porn’ - were no longer as effective as they had been.

In 2022, the pornography star told Men’s Health that his only regret is that he didn’t get the penis surgery sooner.
“Knowing I can perform anytime, no matter what, has completely changed my outlook as a man," he said.
According to data released by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), almost 86 percent of penile implantation surgeries take place in the United States.
Researchers who studied data over a seven-year period concluded that prosthesis implantation is an increasing practice.
