The craze around 'Ozempic penis' may have led to some believing that it's contributed to the new average member size figure.
But according to health experts, the relation may not be so black and white.
Popularity around GLP-1 drugs such as Ozempic and Mounjaro have sky-rocketed in weeks and months past, as celebrities and influencers have shared their experiences on the medication. However, these drugs were all intentionally made to treat type 2 diabetes.

But when people figured out that they could be used for weight loss purposes, it opened the flood gates.
GLP-1 medication works by limiting your appetite and lowering blood sugar, resulting in you feeling more full despite eating a lot less, which can cause you to lose weight. While some unwanted side effects have come from the method, there have also been some that have been welcomed by users.

What are people reporting about 'Ozempic penis'?
The craze known as Ozempic penis is a side effect that male users of the medication have not been opposed to, taking to social media to report the changes they've seen downstairs.

They claim that their penises have increased in size since taking the medication, though a urologist has since claimed that there is no scientific proof supporting these claims.
This hasn't stopped users from noting that their members 'definitely look longer', while partners of GLP-1 drug users have also taken to Reddit to share the noticeable improvements made.
What is really happening?
The urologist responsible for raining on the Ozempic penis parade is Dr Martina Ambardjieva, who told HuffPost: “As a urologist, I can say there’s no evidence that semaglutide (Ozempic) or other GLP-1 agonists cause actual penile tissue growth,
“However, there is a plausible physiological explanation for why some men perceive their penis to be larger after significant weight loss.”

So apparently, it's all to do with the fat around your penis reducing, but to many, a win is a win - right?
The doc added that the rapid weight loss will reveal 'more of the shaft', which gives the illusion that the penis has grown, damningly stating: “It’s not growth, it’s exposure.”

Unfortunately, Italians were at the bottom of the list, dropping below the five-inch mark.
When it comes to overall average size, the UK ranks at 60th, which is respectable given that there are 195 countries in the world.
