A woman who underwent a cosmetic operation known as 'black swan eyes' left her with an appearance that has worried people online.
The popularity of cosmetic surgeries has not waned in the past decade or so, with more people gradually coming around to the idea of it.
Botox is the work that most people would have heard of, consisting of a number of injections that use toxins to stop a muscle from moving for a limited time.
Made popular by celebrities, a course of botox can result in smoothened wrinkles on the face and a more youthful look, when pulled off right.

Experts have highlighted the effects and risks of the injections in the past, though other cosmetic surgeries have risen in popularity.
However, horror stories of people getting carried away with cosmetic work have also done the rounds, with health experts urging people to see licensed professionals when getting work done, reducing the chances of things going wrong.
The viral 'black swan eyes' surgery
A video of a woman has done the rounds on YouTube, after she chose to undergo a blepharoplasty, better known as eyelid surgery.
Widely known as a method to improve the appearance of aged or baggy eyelids, the surgery has the potential to transform someone's appearance if done correctly.
But one doctor has made a reaction video to this woman's appearance following her work, where she has tried to remove excess skin and fat from her upper eyelids in particular.
Dr Gary Linkov has over 1.14 million subscribers on the social media platform, with the 'facial plastics and hair restoration expert' sharing his opinion on the surgery, which he said was a 'combination of an upper blepharoplasty and a brow lift'.
Pros and cons of 'black swan eye' surgery
But upon seeing the result, which showed her with stitched eyebrows and pinned eyelids, he said: "Oh my God, so what they did here was a direct type of brow lift," explaining that while there are different ways to carry the work out, 'this looks overdone'.
As with most cosmetic procedures, there are several pros and cons that come with the procedure, with positives being a potential facial transformation, vision impairment improvement and the quick recovery time, there are things to look out for.
Like many cosmetic surgeries, infection or scarring is a possibility, while having unrealistic expectations can also lead to a world of hurt if you don't get exactly what you want.
Why are people concerned?
Viewers were worried after the doctor's reaction, as one wrote: "Never want my doctor to drop 'OMG’s' in the middle of calmly explaining something."
Another pointed out: "Dr. Gary is always super calm and low toned so him going 'oh shoot.. oh God' is like someone screaming."
"I need part 2 of this... I have to see the outcome of this.. because there is noo way I'm doing this to my face. I want to grow old gracefully," a third said.
And a different user highlighted that it was the 'most emotion' they'd seen from the doc, which tells you how shocking the result was.
