A cardiologist has revealed the 'red flag' sequence that could suggest you are about to have a heart attack.
Doctors are always keen to offer medical advice online to help inform and educate, but no matter how healthy you think you might are, heart attacks can often strike at the most unexpected moments, as one lad found out as he felt a ball of fire in his chest as he competed in a hyrox event.
Doctor Jeremy London, who recently shared the worst thing you can possibly do for your body and why it can damage all of your organs, has shared a lot of information on his YouTube channel about keeping the body and the heart happy and healthy.
He's previously revealed some of the telling signs that you might have a weak heart, as well as the symptoms you should look out for that might suggest you are having a heart attack, but looking back on his own experience, the US-based doctor has now shared a red flag sequence that suggests an incident could be just around the corner.

He said: "If you have a blockage in a heart artery, as you exert yourself, the heart has to work harder. That blockage then becomes blood starved and that's what then causes the symptoms of chest pressure, shortness of breath, chest pain can go to the jaw can go to the arm or it can be very unpredictable symptoms like heartburn or reflux symptoms.
"It's why they refer to cardiac angina as the great masquerader. It can come in lots of forms, but that sequence of exertion, pain, rest, and relief of pain is a red flag.
"And I thought to myself, 'There's no way, this can't be.' So, I spent the remainder of the day testing. I would go up the stairs in the house, I'd get a little bit of reflux symptoms.
"I would sit down, they would go away. I was like, 'Ah, no. Can't be. There's no way. This isn't possible.' And I went outside, cleaned the grill, moved it around on the porch, reflux symptoms came back. I sat down for a bit and they went away again. And I was like, 'Is this actually possible?'"

Despite the doctor's disbelief, it did turn out to be a heart attack, which just goes to show that you should never rule it out, especially when you exhibit symptoms such as these.
Fortunately, he was able to make a full recovery, and he's also shared a lot of advice on how to keep your heart healthy in the long-term, and it is often avoiding common and popular things that can do a lot of damage.
