After seeming to tease her 'new name' yesterday (30 August), Miley Cyrus has just made a bold move.
The 'Wrecking Ball' singer updated her website on Sunday from mileycyrus.com to mileyofficial.com, dropping her last name as she enters a new era.
And this afternoon, she has changed her social media handle to match as she's now simply 'miley' on Instagram.
That tweak was matched up with a new bright red snap of the star and the caption 'MILEY.' as she seems to be gearing up for her next era of music.

So, you could say, 19 years on from her debut single 'See You Again', she's finally matching that infamous lyric as: "Oh, she's just being Miley."
Cyrus' are loving it already as her comments are flooded with: "LET'S GO MOTHER," AND "MILEY IS COMING."
In what some fans are branding a 'rebirth', it's thought the dropping of the surname and the red-background images of the former Disney star are signs that new music and maybe even a tour are coming.
The LADbible Group has contacted Cyrus' team for comment on the change.
And after this long in the business, a self-titled album does feel fitting for the icon.
Her last name of course comes from her famous father, Hannah Montana co-star and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
But the 'Flowers' singer had considered dropping the surname back in 2013, as she wanted to distance herself from her past somewhat.

“I was thinking about dropping the Cyrus and just being Miley but there’s something powerful about the fact that my name now is like a household name,” the now 33-year-old told Notion magazine.
“People have this misconception of me that I'm just one of these kids on TV and that now I go off and party and I'm just this ratchet white girl, and I'm not.”
She continued: “I’m young and living and in LA which is everyone’s dream, you know. I’m living it to the fullest. Rather than taking a blessing and making it a curse, it’s just like this is what this name is now.”

Fans say this name change 'feels like the most Miley move ever' as one highlighted: "The way Miley rebrands every era and somehow makes every new version of herself work will never not impress me.”
As others say the surname has ‘officially clocked off’, fans ‘can’t wait to see what she has cooked up’ with the ‘MILEY’ era.
As her Instagram post quickly gains traction, some fans are 'freaking out' as they say 'Cyrus you will live forever'.
"JUST BEING MILEY," many celebrated, echoing her iconic 2007 single.
"Oh I am SO READY."
What is Miley Cyrus' original name?
As fans of the star's mega career will be aware, Miley isn't actually her original name.
When she was born back in November 1992, the daughter of Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus was named 'Destiny Hope'.
But her family were soon nicknaming her as 'Miley'.
During an appearance on the Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast, her mum explained: "Billy Ray came up with that.
"She always smiled when she was little, so we would call her smiley Miley, and it just stuck."
And she actually ended up legally changing her name in 2008 to officially be Miley.
Billy Ray told US Weekly that she'll always be Destiny Hope in his eyes as he shared the explanation: "She’s a giver. She believes that we’re all put here for a reason, and that’s to give back to our fellow man. I’m real proud of her.
"That’s why we named her Destiny Hope. Destiny Hope Cyrus is her name - at least it used to be.
"But no matter what you call her, she still is Destiny Hope. She is a ray of sunshine. She is a special human being. She’s got a great heart."
