All symptoms woman, 24, faced before dying after being sent home by doctors twice

Georgia Taylor, 24, passed away suddenly on 21 August just weeks after her health troubles began

A young woman who was sent home by doctors twice complained of several strange symptoms before her sudden death.

Georgia Taylor, 24, passed away suddenly on 21 August just weeks after her health troubles - the source of which still remain a mystery - began.

Her loved ones have said they are still 'in denial' about her unexpected death, with her parents poignantly telling Wales Online: "Every morning we wake up and think, 'How has this happened?'

"What are we going to do today without our beautiful girl?"

Georgia's devastated family are still searching for answers more than six weeks on, as her cause of death is still yet to be confirmed.

The only clues pointing to what could have happened to the 24-year-old, from Gwaelod-g-Garth in Wales, are the unusual range of symptoms she began to experience in June this year.

According to her loved ones, Georgia was generally fit and healthy, while she rarely ever took time off work.

Her mum Nicola explained: "She didn’t have any medical issues, she wasn’t taking any medication and she wasn’t ill at all. She’s never been an ill or a sickly person."

"She started getting rashes on some of her fingers around June time," Nicola said. "She wore lots of rings, so I told her to stop wearing them as it may have been a reaction."

By the start of July, Georgia's face had also 'swelled up' and was 'puffy around her eyes', while the rash had begun to spread up her arm.

She visited a GP who prescribed her antihistamines and hydrocortisone under the assumption that her symptoms were because of 'an allergy'.

"These didn’t work and her face was still swollen so she couldn’t go to work," Nicola continued. "A few days later it still hadn’t gone down, so she went to A&E as she also felt breathless.

"They checked some stats and those came back fine and then they sent her away with more antihistamines."

Doctors were unable to pinpoint what the cause of Georgia's discomfort was, but when she headed on holiday at the start of August, her parents said she seemed 'generally well'.

But during the family trip to Zante, Greece, the young woman began complaining of a 'niggling pain' in her right calf - and the following day, she could 'hardly walk', although her face was no longer swollen.

Nicola explained: "We took her to the chemist and they gave her ibuprofen gel and some painkillers which seemed to relieve the pain after a day or so. She flew home and was fine."

"Her leg was probably still hurting but she didn’t mention it and she went to Worcester for the weekend with friends," the mum went on.

"She came home and the next morning she said her leg was in agony and so a family member arranged for her to see a physio."

At this appointment on the evening of 20 August, Georgia's condition took a turn for the worse and she was rushed to hospital.

Despite the best efforts of medics, she then passed away the following day.

Georgia's dad John and Nicola said of her sudden death: "We miss her every second of every minute of every hour of every day. We still can’t imagine life without her.

"Her life has been cut short, we are absolutely devastated that she won’t experience the life she deserved. It’s just not fair.

"After it happened we just couldn’t believe it was real, it was awful. It’s an unimaginable pain. It was just so sudden, we were in complete denial. And still are to a certain extent."

More than £18,000 has been raised for the bereavement charity 2Wish in Georgia's name, which you can donate to here, while over 900 people turned out to pay their respects at her funeral last month.
