People on weight loss jabs have sometimes found that the drugs aren't producing the results they were hoping for.
Most folks taking them have seen some really impressive results in shedding weight and found that these things do really work, so long as you're taking them how they're meant to be used.
In fact, for some, the only problem is that they really do seem to work very well, as Jeremy Clarkson recently discovered that the main downside for him of taking Mounjaro was his trousers falling down because he'd lost weight.
It's Mounjaro that has been dubbed the 'King Kong' of weight loss jabs for its effectiveness, and these things work by suppressing your appetite so that you eat less.

Eating less food will help you lose weight, but if you overdo it on the diet front, you might be at risk of not getting enough nutrition, your body still needs fuel and the right kind of nutrients to function properly.

Weight loss jabs are meant to be taken as part of other lifestyle changes, including exercise and a healthy diet, and not eating enough might actually have the opposite of the desired effect and hinder your weight loss.
Annabelle Welch of Juice Aesthetics UK explained that there were some signs that your body wasn't getting enough food.
Hair loss
One of the more visible signs she mentioned was 'hair thinning or hair loss', since hair growth was 'not an essential function of the body', so if you weren't getting the right stuff, then your body would start switching off certain functions to divert the diminished fuel supply to more important places.
The British Heart Foundation has said you still have to get 'enough of the protein, vitamins and minerals your body needs', so a diet with the right nutrition is vital.

Mood swings
Something else Annabelle mentioned was the drop in blood sugar from eating less food, which would make a person 'a lot more irritable'.
Weight loss jabs like Mounjaro do not typically cause blood sugar levels to fall too low to the point where you're having problems, but if you're seriously undereating and not getting enough of the right stuff, then you'd start to feel it.
Slow recovery
The advice to people on weight loss jabs is to use them as part of a healthy lifestyle, which means exercise, but if you're pushing yourself at the gym without the right fuel, then those strained muscles will take longer to repair.
"If you're still managing to go to the gym while you're taking Mounjaro and exercising, doing some workouts, but you're finding the day after and the day after that and probably the day after that you're feeling pretty exhausted, your muscles are aching to an extreme level, that's probably because you're not fuelling your body with enough protein and nutrition after your exercise," Annabelle said.
"Therefore, it's not being able to recover in a normal way."
A lack of weight loss
The big warning as to why weight loss jabs might not be working is, quite obviously, not losing weight, but the reason behind this is possibly because you're not eating enough.
As Annabelle explained, if you eat a lot less than your body's metabolic rate, it drops and it holds onto what it has, sending you 'into fight or flight mode' where it doesn't burn fat in case it's needed later.
Nutritionist Dr Lisa Young of New York University explained that 'restricting calories too much almost always backfires'.
These weight loss drugs will make you eat less, but if you overdo it on dropping your own food intake, then the body falls into 'starvation mode' where it breaks down muscle tissue and keeps the energy stores in reserve.
Eating less will help you lose weight, but eating far less can really start messing up your body, if you're not having success with weight loss jabs, then you should speak to a doctor.
Eli Lilly, Mounjaro's makers, stress on their website that the medication is supposed to be just part of a weight loss effort 'along with diet and exercise'.
