The Hotel Room In Ibiza Which You Can Stay In For Free But Everyone Can See You

The Zero Suite at Paradiso Art Hotel is, by its own admission, ‘not suitable for wallflowers’, as it’s closed off by see-through walls

There’s a hotel room in Ibiza where guests can stay the night for free – but there’s a huge catch, and it’s one that will become immediately evident as soon as you see the space... Watch a video here:

The Zero Suite at Paradiso Art Hotel is, by its own admission, ‘not suitable for wallflowers’, as it’s a room closed off by see-through walls.

It’s also located in the hotel’s lobby, meaning you’ll probably experience a fair bit of traffic coming past as you try to drift off.

On the plus side, however, guests can stay in the unusual suite for free, which admittedly does make things instantly sound more tempting.

The Paradiso website says: “A glass-walled room in the middle of Paradiso Art Hotel lobby where you can sleep one night for free. Not suitable for wallflowers. Also available for artistic performances, radio broadcasts, DJ sets… the possibilities are endless as long as you like being the center of attention.”

TikToker Olympia Anley recently checked into the hotel for a stay in the suite, sharing a video of her experience with the caption: “I’ve made a lot of friends tonight.”

In the clip, she added: “POV: you can stay in this hotel for free but the room has glass walls to the lobby.”

In a follow-up post, she said there were ‘people pressed against the glass’, also telling her followers in another video: “So for the people freaking out going, ‘Oh my God, they can see you’, yes, they can – the walls are glass.

“But there is a bathroom, you just go through here and it has a door and opaque walls.”

While some people seemed surprisingly up for the idea, many admitted they wouldn’t be able to go for it – even if it is a free night’s stay.

One commented: “This would be my worst nightmare.”

Someone else asked: “My question is, why is this a thing.”

A third wrote: “What’s the point like why aren’t there any walls”

A fourth added: “I can’t explain why but this would make me feel the same as the dreams where u accidentally go in public with no clothes on.”

If you did fancy it though, you can book the Zero Suite by either heading to the hotel’s website or emailing [email protected]

Of course, if you prefer your hotel rooms to come with a little more privacy, Paradiso Art Hotel does offer some slightly more orthodox options, including a 30m2 suite with balcony or the ‘jewel in the crown’, a 50m2 grand suite boasting a terrace, kitchen and two bedrooms.

Sadly, those rooms aren’t free, but they do have real walls... so swings and roundabouts, I suppose.
