Emmanuel The Emu Completely Upstages Owner In Hilarious Videos

We are absolutely *living* for Emmanuel the emu, an enormous hunk of feathers whose antics have been delighting the internet for some weeks now.

Emmanuel lives at Knuckle Bump Farms in south Florida and is cared for by Taylor Blake, who has racked up almost 800,000 TikTok followers thanks to Emmanuel’s cheeky antics.

He often interrupts Taylor’s videos by pecking her camera to the floor and social media has fallen in love with Emmanuel’s zero f**ks attitude.

Taylor can often be heard shouting: “Don’t do it, Emmanuel, don’t do it!” as the anarchic emu strolls over to her phone before knocking it to the floor.

In one recent video, Taylor was left flabbergasted when Emmanuel exercised some self control and was able to refrain from knocking her camera to the floor while she was recording an educational video, although she did have to use the creature's full name.

As he sauntered over to the camera, Taylor could be heard exclaiming: “Don’t do it, Emmanuel, don’t do it! Emmanuel Todd Lopez!” before Emmanuel finally stood down.

The internet has fallen in love with Emmanuel the emu.

Taylor then gushed: “That brings me great joy in my soul that you listened.” She captioned the delightful post: “He knew I meant business when I whipped out his government name.”

Needless to say, fans have fallen in love with Emmanuel, with one person writing beneath Taylor’s post: “I don’t know how I ended up here, but I wanna stay.”

Another added: “It’s his time to shine,” while a third penned: “Oh my goodness, why do I want an Emmanuel now?”

“We love Emmanuel!!!” gushed a fourth social media user, with a fifth adding: “Where’s the Emmanuel Todd Lopez merch? I’ll buy that t-shirt in a second!”

Now seems like the perfect time to shower you with some fun emu facts, so here we go.

The enormous birds are native to Australia and are the second-largest living bird after ostriches.

They can reach speeds of up to 31mph and are capable of running incredible distances.

Their adorable little wings aren’t actually capable of flight, but help them cool down and are also used to steer the birds when they’re zooming around at top speeds.

Emus can grow up to a whooping two metres in height and have two sets of eyelids: one for regular old blinking and the other for keeping dust out of their eyeballs. Isn’t mother nature awesome?
