The trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 has finally dropped. Feast your eyes on it below:

The John Wick flicks are widely considered to be among the all-time greatest action movies to ever grace the screen. Keanu Reeves? Check. High-speed motorbike chases with sword-wielding assassins? Check. Nightclub shootouts? Check. Hitmen shooting people in the face while charging through Manhattan on a horse? Double check.

The latest instalment was officially announced back in 2019, but the small matter of a global pandemic and Reeves’ hectic filming schedule meant production was significantly delayed.

Shooting for the blockbuster finally wrapped this time last year, with actor Shamier Anderson confirming at the time: “That's a wrap on John Wick 4!

“This has been such a rewarding experience for me. I am so grateful to the team @thunderroadpictures and @lionsgate for this opportunity. 5 months later and we did it. Y'all are in for a treat next summer!"

Back in April, the first teaser for John Wick 4 was released, and the action-packed snippet showed Wick punching a wooden post until his knuckles bled while being spurred on by his co-star Laurence Fishburne.

Wick could also be seen f*****g up his foes in an art gallery in a relentless merry-go-round motion of nunchucks and brutality. Did the hairs on the back of anyone else’s neck just stand up?

A few months after the teaser aired, the film's director, Chad Stahelski, revealed to Collider that John Wick 4 would be the longest-running film in the franchise, saying in August: “It's longer than the other three, but not that long.”

Seeing as the original John Wick film clocked in at 101 minutes, the second totalled 122 minutes and the third 131 minutes in length, we can probably count on around two hours and twelve minutes of mayhem when the film finally hits cinemas on 24 March, 2023.

But what exactly can we expect from the new John Wick? Well, at the end of the third movie, Wick was shot off a rooftop by Ian McShane’s character Winston before being rescued by Fishburne's Bowery King.

By the looks of it, Wick will team up with the Bowery King to take down Winston and the High Table, the council of crime lords that govern criminal organisations.

Christ alive, March, hurry up already, would ya?
