A rowdy BOXPARK Wembley guest was knocked out cold by ex-British heavyweight champion Julius Francis on Monday (13 June). Watch below:

Footage of the scary incident shared online shows Francis - who fought Mike Tyson in 2000 and now works as a security guard - punching a man wearing a blue durag in the face, knocking him to the floor.

The punter had been screaming at BOXPARK staff, and Francis’ jab knocked the man to the ground.

A clip of the incident has been shared on Twitter by talkSPORT's Michael Benson, who wrote: “Former British heavyweight champion Julius Francis (who fought Mike Tyson) now working as security at BOXPARK Wembley and dealing with some trouble today…”

The man punched by Francis had been screaming obscenities at security staff and was also seen pushing a man standing outside the venue.

Once out cold, his friends rushed to his side to help, while another person could be heard saying to Francis: “Why? There was no need.”

A spokesperson for BOXPARK told LADbible: "Our team are aware of footage being shared online. This incident is currently under review and part of an ongoing investigation, and therefore we are unable to comment further on the incident at this time. We would like to stress that the safety and welfare of our customers and our staff is our number one priority."

Benson’s clip has now racked up over four million views and reactions to Francis’ actions were mixed.

Some felt that Francis’ response to the man’s actions were justified, with one social media user writing: “Kid deserved it.”

A second echoed: “That guy got exactly what he was asking for,” while a third added: “Dude that got knocked out lifted his arm/hand towards the security guard's face. Free rein at that point.”

“This guy absolutely asked for it. You get what you deserve,” said a fourth.

However, other social media users felt that Francis displayed a lack of self control. One person penned: “If this wasn’t a professional boxer I’d say it was justified. But Francis doesn't need to do that. He got caught up in the tension and lost control.”

Another added: “This type of s**t happens everyday but my thing is WHY don’t MFers ever have any self-control?

"If some whack s**t happens, you can take a breath and walk away - handle s**t in a million different ways. Ppl get so pumped up and loud like the earth is imploding. Chill. Walk. Away.”

“Insane! No need. He could easily be sued,” said another social media user in response to the clip.

During the height of Francis' boxing career - which spanned the mid 90s and 2000 - he faced off against some of the most famous fighters in history, including the likes of Mike Tyson, Vitali Klitschko and Audley Harrison.
