Prince Andrew’s ex-girlfriend Lady Victoria Hervey has claimed that the famous photo that has been circulated of Andrew and Virginia Giuffre is actually a fake.
Moreover, the 44-year-old socialite shared another photo – which looks pretty dubious – on her Instagram account to try and support her claims.
Hervey also bizarrely claimed that the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of crimes relating to her relationship with disgraced billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was a ‘witch hunt’.
So, on her Instagram Hervey shared an edited version of the photograph that has been seen around the world, which shows the Royal with his arm around the waist of Giuffre.
Except, in this edition of the photo Giuffre’s image has been added to a background that doesn’t feature Andrew and Maxwell.
She captioned the image: “Anyone familiar with this photo?”
Then, she shared the other photograph that we’re all familiar with, which does feature Andrew and Ghislaine, supposedly taken in 2001.
She asked her 113,000 followers: "Do you believe that photo is real? Or what if I told you a survivor of Epstein's told me it's an Irish body double that was edited in.”
Obviously, this is a completely unsubstantiated claim, and we can’t actually be sure what or who she believes has been edited into the image.
Six days before that, Hervey claimed that Maxwell’s trial was a ‘witch hunt’, adding: “This story has been so blown out of proportion...
“I know Ghislaine is obviously not a saint and should pay back the trauma caused to her ‘victims’ but lifetime in jail for touching a girls t** 20 years ago and taking them on yacht, private jet and shopping trips. Come on.”
The 60-year-old Maxwell was found guilty on five charges of sex trafficking and other crimes relating to her recruiting and grooming underage girls to have sex with Epstein.
When sentenced, she is facing up to 65 years in prison.
She is currently awaiting that sentencing in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York.
Giuffre claims that she was trafficked by Maxwell and Epstein and made to have sex with Prince Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17.
The Prince has continually and strenuously denied all of these allegations.
Lady Victoria Hervey is a former love interest of the ex-Duke of York and is the eldest child of the sixth Marquess of Bristol.
There is no evidence to suggest that her claims regarding the photographs are true.
