Ah, May 4th, the day that every Star Wars fan can crack open their cans of quotes, memes, and every piece of fandom they own, and celebrate the galaxy far, far away.

With the series spanning over six decades with various movies and series, there is plenty of content available to pop-culture lovers for some spicy meme potential.

And from a completely unbiased viewpoint, Star Wars has the most meme-worthy material out there.

Coming in all shapes and sizes, the force is strong with these memes.

10. Our Lord And Saviour

With the Kenobi series kicking off later this month we thought we’d begin our meme series celebrating our Lord and saviour Ewan McGregor.

McGregor is perhaps the most beloved actor to come out of the Star Wars series - with this fan gifting her mother a delightful picture.

The only caveat is that the mum didn’t quite know the image wasn’t actually of Jesus Christ.

9. Luke Really Doesn’t Like Kylo

Let’s be honest, perhaps Luke acted a tad irrationally here.

After forgiving his father for *ahem* killing younglings and attempting to enslave an entire galaxy, you’d think he’d be a lot more understanding.

But when his nephew Kylo showed dark side tendencies there was no turning back for Luke.

8. Mark Hamill Is Self Aware

That debate was the worst thing I've ever seen & I was in The Star Wars Holiday Special.

— Mark Hamill (@MarkHamill) September 30, 2020

Anyone that saw the first live-action edition of the Star Wars universe can pretty much vouch for the Luke Skywalker actor’s tweet.

The infamous special aired in 1978 and was never re-aired on television again, with a solid 2.1 rating on IMDb.

But hey, at least it wasn’t as bad as the Presidential debate between Biden and Trump back in 2020.

7. Anakin Re-Enters The Group Chat

Yes, he may have committed some heinous acts, but he’s good again now guys!

Yoda doesn’t seem so sure.

6. Betrayed By The PNG

The Anakin and Padmé meme template was a favourite among Star Wars fans last year.

For anyone that's been betrayed by a PNG, this one takes the cake.

5. Not The Smartest Idea

Is handed one of the most dangerous weapons in the galaxy and immediately points it directly at himself.

Yeah, might want to re-think that strategy there Luke.

4. I Have The High Ground

Any true Star Wars fan knows that the ‘high ground’ is key to any and all success.

3. Obi-Wan Enjoys The Sights

The battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith is one of the most intense action scenes in any film period.

It ends in the pretty gruesome visual of Anakin losing all his limbs and almost burning to death.

One fan had their own take on the iconic scene, and let’s just say as long as Obi-Wan is happy we’re happy.

2. General Grievous The Lightsaber Collector

General Grievous certainly loves his lightsabers.

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s adversary often made note of his hobby of collecting various lightsabers, with his obsession making him one of the most memed characters in Star Wars fandom.

This fan took the obsession and ran, and it doesn’t end too favourably for Grievous.

1. Kenobi Takes On Thanos

This is a masterpiece.

Yes, it’s a Marvel and Star Wars crossover, but it has every Kenobi quote a Star Wars meme loving fan could want.

“Hello there.”

“This is going to be easy.”

“I have the high ground.”

“Oh, I don’t think so.”

“So uncivilised.”

Just perfect.
