A QAnon cult in Texas is now reportedly drinking bleach, according to a terrified family member.
QAnon has been steadily growing in popularity in the United States, despite social media companies trying to shut them down.
The group believes a secret cabal of Satan-worshipping paedophiles had managed to make their way into the US government, the business world and the media.

They thought Donald Trump was going to be their saviour who would bust open the devil worshippers, and they were devastated when he didn't win the 2020 US Election.
There are many different sections of QAnon, most of which are shrouded in conspiracy theories and misinformation, however it's clear that one sect in Texas is dabbling with their lives.
An anonymous family member of someone in the cult said they had all started drinking bleach, however the reason why hasn't been revealed.
They told the Dallas Observer: "She was proud to tell us that she was the one mixing it up and giving it to everybody."

The woman's son added: "She's always been into, you know, natural remedies, getting aluminium out of deodorant, things like that. But that led to anti-vaxxing, and anti-vaxxing led to QAnon."
People who have been in or have witnessed someone falling into the trap of QAnon have recalled similar stories of a slippery social media slope.
It starts out as something mildly innocent, however it's easy to go a little too far down the rabbit hole and not question the absurdity of some of the things that are said online.
According to The Independent, bleach, which is also known as chlorine dioxide, has been incorrectly touted by QAnon members as a remedy for coronavirus.

However, the news outlet has also pointed out how many QAnon supporters don't actually believe in the existence of Covid-19.
Who knows what they think has killed millions of people around the world since the pandemic began, however many have refuted the idea of a virus.
Donald Trump, whom QAnon believers ardently support, suggested last year that scientists could look into disinfectant being injected into the human body as a way of killing Covid-19.
"I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute", he said. "And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?

"Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs."
It's worth pointing out that you should absolutely never drink bleach and most, if not all, bottles of the stuff will tell you that exact thing because it would be highly toxic to your insides.
