Being in a relationship means working together and supporting each other on their various endeavours.

While you might not want to go window shopping or watch the footy for hours, it's a nice display of companionship and it can really strengthen a relationship.

But you don't have to explain that to Naomi or Xavier who have gone viral on the internet for their bond.

Naomi is trying to get her nail business off the ground and obvious needs to hone her skills for when she is dealing with loads of customer demands.

To ensure she gets as much practice as possible, her fiancé has leant his hand on more than one occasion so that she can get her style just right.

The aspiring nail technician wrote on Twitter: "It's the support for me. He knows I don't have many people to practice on, so he let me practice on him."

There were some users who thought the act would be emasculating, however many more people have praised Xavier for being supportive of his fiancée.

One person wrote: "I love the support. Not only did he let you do it, he also allowed you to post it. I don't get why all this homophobia is showing in this thread."

Another added: "This man is the epitome of masculinity to me. He just knows its doesn't makes him less of a man. He is confident in his masculinity enough to know this. Plus helping his loved one. This is very cool. A lot of ppl out there need to learn from him."

A third said: "It's the masculine confidence for me! A man that knows who he is doesn't have to worry about how he looks to others, period!!!"

People also flocked to the post to show off their male partners for taking part in something similar.

Whether it was boyfriends getting their nails done, having eyelash extensions put in or any other sort of activity that would normally be reserved for women, it's clear there are plenty of blokes who are unafraid of bending gender norms to bond with their partner.
