In the most heart-melting of viewings from the 2022 Oscars, Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper walked his mother down the red carpet.

The 47-year-old turned up in a dapper Gucci tuxedo with a special lady by his side: Gloria Campano, who acted as his plus one to the awards evening.

Looking elegant, the duo walked the red carpet and posed for photos as the cutest pairing at the Oscars.

This isn't the first time Cooper has brought his mother to the Oscars either.

Back in 2019, Campano joined Cooper and his then-girlfriend Irina Shayk at the Academy Awards and they all coordinated to wear an all-black outfit.

Back in August 2020, Cooper spoke of his life living with his mother and five-year-old daughter in the midst of the pandemic.

He told Interview magazine: "I'm with my daughter and my mother and my two dogs, and we have not left the house.

"My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can't let anybody in the house. And I can't leave the house, because if she gets it, it's over.

Thankfully, it looks as if things are looking more positive for the duo with Campano appearing to be smiling and enjoying herself while on the red carpet this year.

Cooper had previously spoken of his close bond with his mother back in 2013 after they lost Bradley's father Charles to lung cancer.

He told the Los Angeles Times: "My family is very close, and my dad dying was brutal for all of us. It was a schism, and its aftershock has not stopped. And we need each other.

"So here we are... it's not like I live in a compound and she's in the guesthouse. No, she's in the next room. But here's the thing: she's a cool chick. We can hang, and she can roll with the punches."

The 94th Academy Awards marks the return to the Dolby Theatre since the Covid-19 pandemic.

The New York Times reported that attending nominees and guests would have to show proof of vaccination or a valid medical exemption and two negative PCR tests in order to attend.
