An image of Captain Jack Sparrow has been projected onto the Disneyland Paris Castle following his defamation case win against Amber Heard.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star recently won his defamation case against his ex-wife, where he was awarded $15 million (AU$21m) in damages.
The court found Heard's op-ed for the Washington Post was defamatory as it had a disastrous impact on Depp’s career.

Depp claimed he lost out on roles such as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Disney franchise as a result of the op-ed.
However, since winning the case there have been calls for Disney to apologise and attempt to reinstate Depp as the beloved character.
In a video posted to Twitter, it appears Disney has used Depp’s likeness in a display for Pirates of the Caribbean on their Disneyland castle in Paris.

The person who uploaded the clip claims it was taken over the weekend.
During the defamation case, Depp was asked about being dumped by Disney for the Pirates franchise. The actor told the court that he believed it came down to the allegations that he was a ‘wife beater’.
He said: “Two years had gone by of constant worldwide talk about me being this wife-beater. So I’m sure that Disney was trying to cut ties to be safe.
"The #MeToo movement was in full swing at that point.”

Depp also maintained that Disney still wanted to make a profit from the character despite removing him from the movie series.
“They didn’t remove my character from the rides,” he explained to the court.
“They didn’t stop selling dolls of Captain Jack Sparrow. They didn’t stop selling anything.
"They just didn’t want there to be something trailing behind me that they’d find.”
However, despite being dropped as the cherished character, Depp admitted that he wouldn’t be keen on rejoining the Pirates of the Caribbean series in the future.

When Heard’s lawyer Benjamin Rottenborn asked: “The fact is, Mr. Depp, if Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean film? Correct?”
Depp replied: “That is true, Mr. Rottenborn.”
Instead, Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is meant to have a very different actor in the starring role.
In an interview with The Times ahead of the release of Top Gun: Maverick, Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed two Pirates scripts were still in the works.

When asked if Depp would be back, Bruckheimer replied: “Not at this point. The future is yet to be decided.”
However, the producer did reveal another A-list name may appear in one of the sequels.
Speaking about the prospect of a sequel with a female lead, he said: “We’re talking to Margot Robbie. We are developing two Pirates scripts – one with her, one without.”
