For one day only on July 14, Macca’s® is celebrating the middle child of its menu – the McChicken® - offering customers a delicious $1 deal, exclusively via the MyMacca’s app.

Despite being one of the tastiest items on the menu, the McChicken® is often overshadowed by its equally delicious but more popular siblings the Big Mac® and Cheeseburger.

We middle children understand you, McChicken®. Being the middle child comes with its challenges; aside from having Malcolm in the Middle inspired by our sibling dynamic, it’s hard to feel like the rest of the family is stealing the limelight.

For example, as a middle child or ‘functional first born’ as your parents would say, you’re expected to share everything; the phrase ‘what’s mine is yours’ has never been so applicable.

It’s also super easy to feel overshadowed as milestones are always more celebrated when you’re the oldest or youngest.

However, did you know there are some advantages to being the Jan Brady of your family?

First of all, did you know middle children have a national day? An official international middle children union? You even have your own wine label!

Now, thanks to Macca’s, middle children are having their moment!

On July 14, make sure you celebrate the McChicken® – a delicious burger that features crispy chicken, creamy McChicken® sauce and fresh lettuce wedged between soft, warm sesame buns.

My mouth is practically drooling just thinking about it.

To give the McChicken® its time in the spotlight, Maccas® are offering $1 McChicken® burgers exclusively through the Macca's app. You can even earn even more points and rewards for every order you make.

Being the middle sibling has never tasted this good..

Offer is only available from 10:30am tomorrow, while stocks last. Exclusive to the MyMacca’s app. Excludes McDelivery®. Limit of one per person. See in app for details.
