McDonald's is bringing back its iconic Monopoly game from September 1.

There will be $616 million worth of prizes that can be collected during the near two month competition.

You could walk away with a Volkswagen car, an outdoor Weber kitchen, free fuel and or even a little ticket that guarantees you free Macca's for a whole year.

The Monopoly game is simple: there are little stickers attached to some of the company's most iconic menu items.

You peel the sticker off and it will tell you if you've won a quick prize like a large fries. If it's not a fast reward then you'll have to wait and fill up the colours associated with each prize like in Monopoly.

McDonald's Australia Marketing Manager Tobi Fukushima said: "We know our customers love the Monopoly Game at Macca's, so we're thrilled to be bringing it back in 2021 with our largest ever prize pool.

"There are over 59 million prizes up for grabs, with everything from cars, electrical appliances, home accessories, gift cards, travel vouchers, cash and Macca's products on the list.

"With the number of prizes doubling the Australian population, we look forward to giving Aussies the chance to win big this year."

Here's the catch though, this year's Macca's Monopoly will be done exclusively on the MyMacca's App, which will be handy considering you won't have to drown yourself in McDonald's stickers.

The competition will run until October 20, which is plenty of time to get all those stickers on Dark Blue.
