The winning ticket came from Victoria and they haven't yet claimed their huge prize.

The $80 million Powerball Lotto was drawn last night and there is only one very lucky winner.

The Powerball draw 1317 results dropped just after 8:30pm AEST and it appears the winning ticket came from somewhere in Victoria.

The winning numbers were 17, 10, 4, 26, 19, 23, 21 and the Powerball was number 7.

Incredibly, lottery officials don't have the contact details of the person who won so they might not even know they've just become a multi-millionaire.

The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said: "We are encouraging everyone in Victoria to check their entries because they may be the multi-millionaire we are searching for.

"In addition to seeing the massive $80 million prize land in their bank account, this player also shares the title of Victoria's biggest individual lottery winner and Australia's third-biggest lottery winner."

This is only the eighth time the Powerball jackpot has reached the $80 million mark in 25 years.

Whoever has won this incredible amount of money now shares the title of the third biggest lottery winner in Australian history.

If you weren't the lucky person to take out the top prize, fear not, the Division Two prize pool of $1.42 million was shared by 13 winning tickets.

So you have a much higher chance of being that person than the $80 million.

There were also 219 tickets that won a share of the $872,769 Division 3 prize pool. Those people will receive nearly $4,000 each.
