Pizza Hut Australia Is Launching A Beer Delivery Service From Today

Beer with pizza is one of those holy culinary creations that just mix; like 100s and 1000s, butter and bread, salt and vinegar, and a meat pie with tomato sauce.

If you're ordering from your usual takeaway shop in Australia, you'll usually have to duck out to the bottleo to pick up some beers just in time for the pizza to arrive.

However, if you're feeling particularly cosy indoors and yet still want the taste of sweet, sweet beer to touch your lips, then Pizza Hut has an answer.

The pizza legends are allowing Aussies to order a six-pack of beer alongside their pizza, wings or pasta from today (March 1).

Pizza Hut has introduced the new menu item that will make a takeaway night at home even better.

You'll be able to get a six-pack of Victoria Bitter, Great Northern, and Corona for $19.95. Queenslanders will be blessed with the additional option of XXXX, while Victorians can get a Furphy.

Queenslanders and Victorians will be the first to trial the new service before it gets rolled out nationally.

Chief Marketing Officer Chet Patel said in a statement: "Beer culture has become complicated with so much choice and as the research shows, people are feeling judged if they don't make the right one.

"We wanted to make the choice simple for Aussies - hot pizza with the ice cold beer you know and love. After all, we just want to make it easier for more Australians to share good times.

"We're no strangers to controversy - the debate about whether pineapple belongs on pizza has been raging for years and yet Hawaiian is one of our top selling pizzas.

"We don't judge Aussies for their diverse tastes, we just make delicious pizza, wings and pasta for all to enjoy. Now, we're offering popular, well priced beer to go with the menu, making it easier for Aussies to get what they want."

Pizza Hut's price for a six-pack is cheaper than other delivery services and is pretty much bang on what you'd get at the bottleo.
