A cat has caused a London train to be delayed for nearly three hours.
Trains get delayed all the time in the UK and usually it's due to unexpected track maintenance, someone being unruly inside a carriage or any other myriad reasons.
But rarely is it because of a cat that just did not want to move.

The Avanti West Coast Pendolino train from London Euston to Manchester wasn't able to get underway until train operators could shoo the tabby away.
That proved to be harder than expected.
After about two and a half hours of effort, they eventually managed to coax it away from dangerous overhead power cables and off the roof of the train.

Joe Hendry, Network Rail station manager for Euston, told the Milton Keynes Citizen: "We often have to deal with birds inside the station but in all my time here this is the first train surfing cat!
"Thankfully curiosity didn't kill this cat and we're glad it avoided using up one of its nine lives thanks to the swift action of the station team and Avanti West Coast staff who organised for passengers to get onto a different train for the rescue to take place."
Kathryn Pranga-Wells, lead station manager for Avanti West Coast, added: "The things some pets do to avoid lockdown. Thankfully we managed to avoid a cat-astrophe but don't ask me-ow the cat got up there."
Thankfully, passengers weren't delayed nearly three hours and they were put on a replacement train while the cat's train was temporarily taken out of service.
