A couple from Ohio are shocked after buying a pizza that contained pepperoni made in the shape of a Swastika.
Pizza toppings can sometimes be a bit of a disappointment, either being not enough or they've been slopped around during the delivery journey. But this is wrong on a completely different level.
Jason Laska went to a Little Caesars on the way home from visiting his mother-in-law and picked up a pizza from the outlet's ready-made warmer sections.
It wasn't until he got home and opened the box did he discover what was lurking inside the box.
People with an intimate knowledge of the symbol will be quick to point out that the swastika that was laid out in pepperoni isn't the one associated with the Nazi party. The left pointing swastika is usually a symbol 'of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions' like Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
Despite this, Jason and his wife Misty were furious.
Speaking to CNN, Mr Laska said: "Things like this are keeping hate alive in this world. We all need the exact opposite of that right now.
"We were literally silent for a few moments. Misty asked me if I had ordered it and they had to make it and they gave me that on purpose thinking they were targeting me because they stereotyped me or something."
They tried calling the store they picked the pizza up from however their line was busy.
Misty then took her anger to social media, where it's since gone viral.
Writing on Facebook, Mrs Laska said: "What the f*** is this s***?! Jason stopped At Little Caesars on Smith rd Off of Snow and when he gets home THIS is what they gave us!!!
"This was what they had in there [sic] warmers! I'm Livid!! This is sooo unsettling and disturbing and hateful as hell!! Definitely not eating it and definitely never going there again! And no it's not even cut! I'm ASTOUNDED!"
Two workers have since come forward and admitted guilt. They were immediately fired.
Little Caesars spokesperson Jill Proctor told CNN: "We have zero tolerance for racism and discrimination in any form. We're deeply disappointed that this happened, as this conduct is completely against our values.
"We have also reached out to the customer to discuss this personally with him."
