Man gets his wife’s most unflattering photo tattooed on his body and she was fuming

After seeing his new ink she 'cried a lot at first, then laughed a lot, and then cried again while Googling laser companies'.

Australian man Jarrod Grove has pulled off what might be the best, weirdest, and most permanent prank of all time.

The Gold Coast man, 28, decided he wanted to stir up his wife Tegan, 30, with some new ink.

And he had the perfect portrait in mind.

It turns out Tegan pulls a bit of a funny face in order to make her mates laugh. It's just one of the many things he revealed he loves about his bride.

And he never thought he'd catch it on camera, let alone on his body.

Yep, we can see why she'd be a little upset.

"She hates the face that she pulls but I love it and the fact that she hated the photo of her pulling this face so much, I just had to get it tattooed," he said.

"It showed her personality [as her] raw and true her honest self. She’s the funniest person I know and this face makes me happy because it’s just her."

Tegan, however, wasn't so sure about the massive tattoo on her husband's thigh.

While they love to play jokes on each other, Jarrod did wonder if he went too far with this one when his lover burst into tears when she saw it.

But then she laughed a lot. Then she cried a bit more. She started laughing again. Oh, and then she started googling laser tattoo removal.

But, in the end, Jarrod revealed she 'just threw her hands up and laughed it off'.

What a rollercoaster.

Jarrod Grove shared how nervous he was before Tegan saw the ink.

Anyway, he revealed that the whole thing had been done in secret and he was bursting to see her reaction once his body art was finally complete.

"I could not wait to come home and see Tegan’s reaction," he said.

"I knew it would go one of two ways, either we would laugh together or I’d never see this girl ever again."

He added: "I guess I’m lucky she has a decent sense of humour."

The monster tattoo took a massive eight hours to complete.

And, thankfully, the Gold Coast man reckons it came out brilliantly and is thrilled his wife's face will adorn his leg forever.

"[The tattoo was painful, but what hurt me worse was the absolute anguish in waiting to see if Tegan would have a laugh or have nothing to do with me ever again," he revealed.

But, thankfully, Tegan appears to be sticking around.

Phew.

He said some people have questioned what will happen if they split up.

"Our relationship is so tight, that wouldn’t happen," he said, adding: "We laugh all the time."

"She’s my soulmate and nothing will change as long as we are laughing."
