A man who is 11 weeks deep into his attempt to enter a bodybuilding competition by taking steroids and drinking 24 drinks a day has been giving daily updates on his progress.
Last year Peter Mossfield made a bet that he could get addicted to alcohol and then quit, a wager that made him a good chunk of money as several people took the $5,000 gamble against him and lost.
Looking for his next thing to do he decided to make a new bet where he'd get into the best shape possible while quaffing 24 drinks a day, and he initially thought he'd drink and exercise.
However, he didn't want to do the exercise and someone told him he could just try steroids instead, so Peter, who runs the Instagram account BoozeBagFitness, started on his steroids and has been showing off the daily progress.

Peter told LADbible he feels 'great', and like he's now got 'the body and the physical presence to match who I actually am'.

"I know everyone says the gear will make me irritable, but it’s more like having a chip on my shoulder knowing I’m on the way to greatness and not having time to listen to a word of negativity from anyone questioning me or hating on me as I get there," he explained, though there were some downsides to what he was doing.
"Sleep is bad and I’ve been cramping a lot, but nothing another supplement or IV can’t fix in my opinion.
"Really proud of what my body’s been able to take."
He's putting a lot of faith in supplements and IVs, and has been relying on steroids in order to get his leaner and more muscular physique.
In today's update he also declared that while he's not saying 'no more beers' he's switched his drink of choice to diet coke and vodka, while he reckons his steroid intake is going to be boosted so he'll 'get really shredded' without lifting weights.
He also explained that since he'd started doing this his weight had increased from 191lbs to 208lbs, but that might change as he's started 'the cut' where he'll be eating some eggs and having his drinks mixed with protein powders, and that's about it.
Right now he's about halfway to the starting point of the bodybuilding competition he's planning to enter, so he's still got a long way to go before he shows up there.
While there's been a lot of concern for his health over his lifestyle and reliance on steroids coupled with no exercise to get his body shape, Peter's been clear that he likes the way he feels.
As you might imagine, health experts cannot possibly recommend this man's lifestyle as there have been a plethora of warnings about all the negative health impacts steroids have on the body.
There's liver damage, which someone drinking as much alcohol as Peter definitely doesn't need, and all other manners of internal harm.
Quite dangerously, many younger people taking steroids 'feel completely well' even if they've done a lot of damage to themselves internally.
Dr Giedre Putelyte, a specialist doctor at Castle Craig, a rehab clinic in Edinburgh, told Sun Health:"These are typically otherwise healthy, active men who don’t associate their steroid use with internal harm, particularly because the effects are silent at first.
"The concern is that by the time symptoms develop, the damage may already be advanced."
If he's really having 24 drinks a day and many of them are alcoholic then Peter's also likely to be consuming over a week's worth of maximum recommended alcohol intake in just a day.
