A bartender has shared a video of an unusual exchange with a customer after they put forward a 'strange' request, leaving other TikTok users shocked by their sheer 'audacity'.

Bartender Kayla Elick, 22, posted a video on TikTok (@chickfillkayyy) with the caption: "It was 10 am."

She had recorded herself as she spoke to a customer from behind the bar, with the man heard asking her to show him a body part.

"Can I see your feet just once," the stranger - who cannot be seen in the video - says.

Elick replies: "My what?"

The man then repeats: "Your feet."

Elick asks again: "My feet?"

Confused, she then appears to lift up her feet slightly to the man, but he tells her: "No. Those are shoes."

Putting down her feet - so to say - Elick then says firmly: "I'm not pulling out my feet?!"

The video has racked up 3.8 million views and more than 346,000 likes - along with thousands of comments about what went down, with people saying the customer's behaviour was 'freaky'.

One person said: "Bruh... people strange."

Someone else wrote: "The audacity guys have nowadays... I'm usually too shy to even ask for napkins if not given one at the bar lmaoo..."

A third said: "10am? Jesus, too early for that. I'm sorry you have to go through that."

Others noted the 'aggression' in the man's request, while others said he had 'no chill'.

"If you like feet, odds are you're a creep," one added.

Someone also shared a similar experience they had while using a dating app, saying a stranger had asked about their toes.

"A guy on a dating app asked me what colour my toenails were painted once," they explained.

"No hi, hello. Just went with that."

Some people also suggested Elick - who also has more than 12,000 followers on Instagram - should have asked him for money, but it turns out that probably wouldn't have been an option even if she'd have wanted to.

In a comment in the TikTok thread, she revealed he didn't even pay up at the bar, saying: "And for everyone saying to charge him $100+ he didn't even pay for his tab."
