An influencer has gone viral after footage showed her expertly killing it with kindness when two men apparently started mocking her while taking photos.

Samantha Longton, who has more than 81,000 followers on TikTok (@samanthalongton), posted a video of herself in a swimming pool, where she had been posing in a bikini.
"I'm not a confrontational girl but sometimes men just..." she wrote in the caption.
In the video, Samantha also explained: "Trying to take a cute pic at the pool and I hear two men audibly making fun of me so..."
The short clip shows her standing in a pool, looking over to two people out of shot.

"Did you want one together?" she suddenly asks them sweetly.
In response to their presumably baffled faces, she then repeats herself, before a voice can be heard asking: "Want what?"
Samantha - who is originally from New York but now lives in Florida - replies: "A picture!"
One of the men then says: "Oh, yeah... Sure."
Samantha hits back: "Of course, I can take one for you. Do you have your phone?"

When the men say they haven't, she adds: "Oh, okay. Then next time!"
Her video has since gone viral, racking up 1.2 million likes, 9.8 million views and thousands of comments.

Samantha also posted a follow-up video after someone asked her to share the full footage of the incident.
It shows her posing in the pool and the moment the two men 'crossed' her.
"I stopped posing to wait for them to pass," she said.

"One made a face and whispered to his friend, 'Look at her... That is what's wrong with girls.
"They stood next to the slide, faced me and started laughing.
"I watched them shake their heads and start laughing."
At this point, she cranes her neck over to the two men and asks them if they'd like her to take their photo for them - much to their confusion.
Many TikTok users have praised Samantha for her quick-thinking and dignified response to the two men, with one commenting on her post: "This is the best way to say I heard you without being direct or confrontational, it's the best, sarcastic way of handling this kind of situation."
Others also complimented her choice of bikini (it's from Target apparently), while some gave a shout-out for her perfectly 'condescending, passive-aggressive voice'.
Another added: "One person added: "I think this is what my mum meant by 'kill them with kindness'."
