When I was a teenager it was all about Megan Fox for us back in school. Everyone had a crush on her. If you were a teen in the mid 80s though, it was all about Tiffani Thiessen, otherwise known as Saved By The Bell's Kelly Kapowski.
Tiffany, 44, said she was well aware of how popular she became and has revealed how it made her feel.

Speaking on Pardon My Take Podcast, the topic of her numerous admirers came up, including the host himself, Dan Katz. Not to mention Justin Bieber was also said to be an admirer of the character.
Tiffani claimed that she was only made aware of how many had the hots for her after doing signings at the mall.
She admitted: "I don't think I really realised it during it until we were doing these mall signings.
"I think it wasn't until then that I realised the impact of the show itself because I would see how girls were with (Mark Paul Gosselaar) and then I would see how boys were with me.
"And that was really kind of the turning point of like 'oh this is kinda weird. This is kinda crazy'. Then the fan mail started getting creepier."
After admitting his feelings to her, the host of the podcast then realised Tiffany's husband was in the same room as her in the zoom call.

The host said: "If I could go back and talk to 10-year-old myself he would be like 'what did you just do'. Not creepy!
"Just a tip, like next time tell us your husbands in the room cos he's kind of like c***blocking us here."
Tiffany jokingly responded: "I know he's c***blocking you I'm sorry."
According to IMDb, the show was about, "A close-knit group of six friends get through their teens together while attending Bayside High School in Palisades, California". It ran 86 shows from 1989 to 1992 with some spinoff afterwards.

Despite their being higher rated shows at the time, like Friends and The Simpsons, Saved By The Bell seemed to impact the culture in a different way. At the show's height, there were over a dozen books written along with comic book series and later two spinoff shows.
