A man has shared the incredible story of how he found out a huge secret family after looking up his ancestry DNA.

Andy Nabil (@kingnabil69) shared a TikTok video detailing the 'most insane weekend' of his life, having taken a DNA test back in December to find out he wasn't an only child as he'd always believed.

Andy, 26, responded to another TikToker's video, in which they asked: "Did anyone else take an Ancestry DNA test and accidentally uncover a family secret?"

In his case, it was less of a family secret and more of an entire secret family.

Andy, a transportation planner who lives in Atlanta and plays in the band Heathersett, says in his video: "I took one back in December and I was like, 'Hmm, this is kind of weird'.

"My Dad told me that he was, like, mostly French and English, and I was like, 'That's strange, I wonder why Ireland is higher than that'."

Pointing at his matches, he continues: "Alright, yeah, that's my mom... Who the f*** is that? That's not my dad.

"After a quick Google, I find this."

Showing his followers an online article, he explains: "My sperm donor dad and 15 of my siblings that I didn't know about, partying in Mexico.

"I woke up two days ago thinking I was an only child, and now I find out that I'm the second oldest of 31."

His amazing story has since racked up 1.3 million views online, with more than 235,000 likes and thousands of comments.

Responding to other TikTokers' questions, Andy has explained he'd bought the DNA kits for he and his parents for Christmas - and that they had known all along.

"They didn't give me a heads up!" he says in a follow-up video.

"When I saw these results I had to tell them, and they were like, 'Yup, that's true'."

One person commented on the video: "Dude that's crazy!"

Another said: "Well that escalated quickly!!!!"

A third joked: "They owe you a lot of bday gifts."

A fourth suggested they should have their own reality series, while others said they felt sad that he hadn't been able to join in on the half-siblings' Mexico trip.

But in another update, Andy explained that he is already in a group chat with his other siblings, adding: "I have asserted that I am for sure going to be a part of the next vacation."
