Marvel actor Elizabeth Henstridge shared a sneaky iPhone hack that allows you to listen into conversations up to 15 mins away. Have a look at the TikTok below:

Henstridge, who stars as Jemma Simmons in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, was seen to look pretty stunned as she shared the hack with her viewers.

She wrote: "When someone explains the ear button on your iPhone means you can listen to conversations happening by your phone from 15 metres away."

Apple explains on its website: "Live Listen can help you hear a conversation in a noisy room or hear someone speaking across the room.

"With Live Listen, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can act like a microphone that sends sound to your AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max or Powerbeats Pro."

The conditions are that you need an iPhone with access to a pair of wireless earphones.

To activate, go to 'Settings', then to 'Control Centre', and then the green plus icon next to 'Hearing Devices' and tap 'Settings' to save the changes.

To use Listen Live, connect your iPhone to a compatible wireless ear piece and open up your Control Centre by swiping up from the bottom of your phone.

Then tap the ear icon and then tap 'Listen Live' and place your phone in front of the person you want to be able to hear.

The clip went viral on TikTok yesterday (3 November) and has already racked up 2 million views and over 92,000 likes.

One user wrote: "Extendable ears? We owe Fred and George credit for this one."

Another said: "Beforehand you need to decide if you really want to hear what is being said."

A third added: "A whole messy trail of broken marriages and relationships in 3, 2, 1..."

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. lasted seven seasons after airing from 2013 to 2020.

The synopsis reads: "Agent Phil Coulson leads a team of highly skilled agents from the global law-enforcement organisation known as S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Together, they combat extraordinary and inexplicable threats."

The series stars Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, reprising his role from the film series, alongside Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker and Henstridge.

The show is now available to stream on Disney+.
