As much of Australia is gripped in a horrible bushfire crisis, many will want to make like the Prime Minister and nick off overseas for a couple of days.
While that can usually set you back a decent amount of money, Scoot has decided to make it a little easier to get to some of our favourite hotspots.
The budget airline is launching a 'silly season' sale, with flights to Europe starting at just $329 one way.

You can pick up that juicy fare if you want to go from Perth to Athens, which jumps up to $349 if you fly from Sydney or Melbourne. Travellers can also duck over to Berlin, via Singapore, for just $329 from Perth and $359 for the east coast.
If Europe isn't your thing then you can always nip over to Osaka, Japan from $249 if you leave from Perth, $269 from the Gold Coast, and $279 from Sydney or Melbourne.
Flights to Thailand are also dirt cheap, staring at just $185 from Perth, $195 from the Gold Coast and $205 from Sydney or Melbourne.

There are other south-east Asian destinations up for grabs that are all in the $179 to $229 range.
Obviously these are one way flights, meaning if you ever wanted to return home (which some people might not) then you'll have to double the fare.
You'll also have to be careful about baggage fees as they can sometimes creep up on you.
The 'silly season' sale will run until 2.59am, January 7, and you can book the holiday between now and October 31.
