Well that didn't take him long - Trump has always been keen to get the wall up between Mexico and the States and he's signed the order the first week in the office. He's also still saying Mexico will pay for it.

It was one of the big promises he made on his campaign trail - to put up a wall between Mexico and The States to stop illegal immigrants coming into the country. Did he get the idea while watching Game of Thrones? I suspect so.
Then there's the 'build the wall' chant.

We've all been waiting for this to happen, but Mexican architects from a design firm called Estudio 3.14 have gone one step forward and mocked up a few images for Donald Trump's wall along the Mexico/US border.
Their plans are creative, satirical and tinged with anger, but I bet for sure the US will jump on them.

What Does The Wall Look Like?
The most obvious thing to say about their version of the wall is that it's bright pink.
Well, The Donald did say he wanted it to be "beautiful." And pink walls are the latest backdrop for Instagram pictures so it's bang on trend.
The design firm has also put a shopping mall in the wall, because we know how much the States love to shop. I'm sure the wall will be on a prime bit of real estate.

It's also got detention centres for people being deported and a labour camp where Mexicans who are in prison can help build the wall for their gaolers.
Of course, what it'll actually look like we shall see.
How Long Will The Wall Actually Take To Build?
As the border between Mexico and the various states is over complicated territory - sand dunes, lakes and rivers etc, it's going to take a long time. They're saying it could take 16 years - and knowing how these things always overrun that's a conservative estimate. So we are looking at the late 2030s at the earliest.

How Much Is The Wall Going To Get?
CNBC's Kate Drew thinks construction will cost $15-25 billion and maintenance and border control will cost $2 billion a year.
Yikes, that seems like a great way to spend taxpayer's money.
Who Is Going To Pay For It?
Despite Trump (still) insisting that Mexico will pay for it, President Enrique Peña Nieto has taken to Twitter to say that Mexico will never pay for it.
According to Congress, US taxpayers will be paying for the wall, and then Mexico will pay them back. As these are two separate countries and Mexico would have to agree to this - it's quite unsure how that's going to work. Trump is adamant that Mexico is going to pay for the wall and the only reason that the US taxpayers are footing the bill is for the "sake of speed."
