US Couple Are Planning Avengers-Themed Orgy Once Lockdown Is Over

A couple in the US are planning a massive Avengers-themed orgy for when lockdown finally ends.

Bob, a software engineer, and a sex therapist named Alyssa are the brains behind the 'Post Pandemic Pan-Philadelphia Orgy', which they have been advertising by putting up flyers around their neighbourhood.

And though they say it started out as a joke, they now plan on seeing it through.

Speaking to The New York Post, the couple said they have received dozens of emails from people interested in taking part.

Neither Bob, 25, nor Alyssa, 29, has ever attended a sex party or an orgy before but after months of being cooped up, say they are ready to give it a go.

Alyssa, who is bisexual, told the publication: "This would be new territory for us, but it's something that we've been open to."

Bob added: "I identify as heterosexual but open to new experiences."

And while he says he has had 'small group experiences', Bob said he wouldn't describe anything he's previously taken part in as an orgy.

He explained: "Humanity is currently in the middle of the largest dry spell in all of history, that's what inspired the flyers.

"It may seem strange to advertise an orgy in such a public way, but yes, we wanted to bring a smile to our neighbours' faces."

But why Avengers?!

As well as allowing people to keep their anonymity, they say it just seemed to fit.

Alyssa said: "We just like spandex, bodysuits and tights. It seemed like a sexy, easy theme, and since this is new for us, it felt good to have some direction."

The couple only met in December last year, but once the outbreak kicked off, they decided to quarantine together.

However, by looking at the interest they have received from their adverts, many others haven't been as lucky as them to find someone to buddy up with.

They have received inquiries from as far away as Nevada.

Bob said: "The demand is overwhelming. A lot of messages are just, 'Is this real?'

"I think we turned down some people at the beginning because we didn't realise we were for real."

But they are dead set on hosting the post-lockdown... erm, party, even if they have to rent someplace bigger than their apartment to accommodate all of the participants.

Referencing the state's colour-coded lockdown strategy, Bob said: I would say an orgy sounds like a thorough phase green activity."

Adding: "We don't know what the future holds for us. We just want something to look forward to."
