Most of us know we're just destined to be forever terrible at wrapping presents. We've simply accepted our fate, and that fate is that anything you hand over will look like it comes from a toddler. It's what's on the inside that counts, right?
And if you're one of those weirdos who's actually good at wrapping, it probably means you've got too much time on your hands. Get a life, c'mon.
But what if we told you there was an easy, quick fix that would mean your presents don't have to look completely shit this Christmas? Oh, and even more importantly, it uses half the paper and at half the cost - appealing to the cheapskates among us... So everyone, then.

The 'diagonal wrapping method', coined by Connecticut-based lifestyle blogger and YouTuber Kallie Branciforte, promises just that.
In a video shared last Christmas, Kallie (who vlogs as But First, Coffee) takes viewers through her festive life hacks - including the intriguing diagonal wrapping tekkers.
It basically involves pulling each corner of the wrapping paper towards the centre of what you're wrapping - which Kallie says is perfect for when it seems as though there's not going to be enough paper.

You then pull each of the triangular sections to cover the present.
YouTube users seemed pretty impressed with the idea, with one writing to say their world had been 'shaken', adding: "All the wrapping paper I've wasted!!!!!!"
Someone else commented: "I needed this in my life. I can not for the life of me wrap gifts. Like it's hard as hell to make it perfect."
Another said: "Diagnonal huh? Whyyy have I never thought of that lmao."
A fourth added: "Finally! A 'hack' video that is actually helpful and informative!"

Kallie's other hacks include crafting your own gift bag out of wrapping paper, making a ribbon out of wrapping paper and creating cylindrical gift boxes from toilet paper rolls and Pringles tins. In other words, a bunch of things I'm never going to bother trying, let's face it.
It all does look pretty neat, but on reflection, I'm think I'm quite at peace with just being crap at wrapping...
