Clip Of Jada Pinkett Smith Forcing Will Smith To Respond On Instagram Live Resurfaces

Old footage of Will Smith asking his wife Jada Pinkett Smith not to record him without permission has resurfaced on Reddit

Resurfaced footage of Will Smith asking his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, not to record him without permission has been doing the rounds on Reddit. Take a look below:

In the 49-second clip which was uploaded on Reddit, Jada is seen pointing the camera at her husband as part of an Instagram Live and pushes him to reveal whether he’d recommend Esther Perel, a therapist who helped them with their marital issues.

Jada explained that Esther will appear on an upcoming episode of her popular show, Red Table Talk, but Will, clearly uncomfortable, told her: “I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me."

Esther appeared on Red Table Talk in 2019, so it is believed the footage was captured around that time.

Jada then asks Will: “You know Esther Perel is coming to the table, she’s gonna be at the Red Table. Would you say she has been instrumental in you and I redefining our relationship?”

The resurfaced footage shows Jada questioning Will as repeatedly asked her not to film him.

Will then asks Jada not to film him without permission, to which she responds: “Oh my god. I’m still dealing with foolishness.”

Jada next asks: “Would you say that she helped us heal the hurts that we caused between one another?”

Will then looks at the camera and says: “My social media presence is my bread and butter. So you can't just use me for social media. Don’t just start rolling, I’m standing in my house. Don’t start rolling.”

Turning the camera on herself, Jada says: “Please watch Esther at the Red Table because she’s helped us a lot.”

Before the clip ends, Jada sarcastically quips: “Can’t you tell?”

People have had quite a lot to say about the resurfaced footage, with one Reddit user saying: "He looks tormented. Ive gone from liking him, to hating him to feeling sorry for him in the space of a week."

"He looks broken. I’m back and forth on the slap thing but damn. She ain’t good for him at all," another said, while one pointed out: "Divorce will solve a number of issues here."

Jada and Will have dominated the headlines for almost a fortnight since 'that' Oscars incident.

During Jada and Esther’s 2019 conversation, the pair discussed infidelity, with Jada telling the audience that Esther’s help had been 'instrumental' in resolving her and Will’s issues.

Jada said at the time: “In regards to redefining my marriage as a life partnership was the necessity of autonomy for myself and for Will.

"And finding the core of us that wanted to be together outside of the constraints of the traditional ideas of marriage, because they weren't working for us.”

The couple have dominated the headlines for almost a fortnight after the Men In Black actor slapped Chris Rock in the face during the 94th Academy Awards on March 28.

The comedian had made a G.I Jane joke in reference to Jada’s shaved head, prompting Will to walk onstage, hit Chris and then return to his seat and shout: “Keep my wife’s name out your f*****g mouth.”
