JD Vance's UK holiday looks to have been disrupted by protestors after a van featuring his least favourite meme was spotted driving around the Cotswolds.
For those of you who aren't chronically online, the 50th vice president is depicted in an altered meme image, which shows him with a little more roundness in his face and with no hair on his head.
The meme even reportedly got someone banned from travelling to the US earlier this year after it was found on their phone, so the 41-year-old probably isn't all that keen on it, even if the customs and border protection (CBP) denied that it ever happened.
Much like Donald Trump, Vance's time as vice president has been filled with controversy. Thee Marine Corps veteran was slammed for an embarrassing comment he made when arriving in Greenland, while he was also accused of breaking Vatican protocol after he was pictured with Pope Francis just days before he died.

Unsurprisingly, he hasn't had the warmest of welcomes since arriving in the picturesque Cotswolds for a family holiday, with Jeremy Clarkson, who of course runs his pub in the area, leading the protests.

Although, he was spotted having some beers with Thomas Skinner, in one of the weirdest celebrity meetings you'll see all year, most are doing their upmost to ensure that Vance doesn't return to the UK anytime soon.
That includes an 'anti-Vance van' which has been spotted driving around the village of Charlbury, with footage of the vehicle going viral after it was shared online by the political campaign group Everyone Hates Elon on Tuesday (12 August).
Referencing the alleged previous incident with the meme, the group said: “This image got a tourist banned from the US. JD Vance said the UK has no free speech, so today this van is following him on his quiet British holiday. How’s that for free speech, JD?”

The van isn't the only source of protesting, however, as locals have also been spotted in the village proudly displaying the bald version of Vance, while holding signs reading 'JD Vance claps when the airplane lands' and 'JD Vance’s Netflix password is password.'
The vice president isn't the only US citizen to enjoy a visit to the Cotswolds, however, as it turns out that Clarkson is now essentially neighbours with former TV host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi, after the duo swapped the US for sunny England following Trump's return to the Oval Office.

It's unclear if JD has spotted or reacted to the van just yet, as even if he's out driving in the local village, he's probably more focused on staying on the left side of the road.
