Volodymyr Zelenskyy Has Survived 'More Than A Dozen' Assassination Attempts Since Russia's Invasion Began

A 'very strong network of intelligence and counterintelligence’ has intervened and ‘liquidated’ these assassins.

An Ukrainian official has revealed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has survived more than a dozen assassination attempts since Head of Office, Mikhail Podolyak, called out Russian 'operational information' sabotage groups for trying to hunt down Zelenskyy and his family.

He told Pravda.com: "Foreign sources talk of two or three attempts.

"I believe that there have been more than a dozen such attempts. We are constantly receiving intelligence that there are certain reconnaissance groups trying to enter government quarters and the like."

He has praised Ukraine's counterintelligence teams for providing information that has helped ‘liquidate’ these assassins targeting Zelenskyy.

“We have a very strong network of intelligence and counterintelligence - they are monitoring this situation and these reconnaissance groups are being eliminated on their approach," he said.

"That is to say, we are aware of their plans and our counterintelligence is taking care of the situation."

Podolyak added: "From a security point of view, I am not at liberty to discuss certain elements. These risks still exist.”

This incredible revelation comes after Ukraine's Secretary of National Security and Defence told the world last week that Zelenskyy had survived three assassination attempts.

These plans were reportedly thwarted by subversive anti-war members within Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), who contacted Ukraine officials.

The Times claimed one of the groups who honed in on Zelenskky was the Wagner Group, which had 400 members based in the capital with a 24-name ‘kill list’.

Chechen assassins were also allegedly behind an attempt to ‘eliminate’ Zelenskyy on March 1, according to Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksiy Danilov.

He told the Ukraine 24 TV channel: "The special operation that was to be carried out directly by the Kadyrovites to eliminate our president is fully known to us today, and I can say that we received information from representatives of the FSB, who today have no desire to take part in this bloody war.”

Zelenskyy has vowed to remain in Kyiv despite his life being at risk.

During a video he posted to social media earlier this week, he said: “I’m staying in Kyiv. On Bankova Street (where the presidential offices are located).

“Not hiding, and I’m not afraid of anyone.”
