If you run your own business, we're going to make a confident guess that you sometimes leave your tax return until the very last minute.

But Brits have found an 'absolutely brilliant' way to take the stress out of the admin - and you’ll never have to worry about scary numbers again.

With hundreds of five-star reviews, people are raving about the popular app, an accounting software tool that makes that October deadline look a little less intimidating.

“Submitting to HMRC can be a daunting task, especially when you're unsure about the process - it definitely caused me some anxiety,” said one five-star reviewer, who praised the app for “[guiding] me through the new submission process with patience and clarity, making everything much easier to understand.”

Another customer explained that they have dyslexia, so struggle to file their taxes. “I very nearly gave up on trying to do it myself, [but] the onboarding team was utterly brilliant," they said. "[They understood] my problems working with numbers and clearly demonstrated how it all worked - which has made me a very happy person. I will now be able to understand my accounts and get them done myself, saving a fortune.”

A third simply wrote: “Incredible service and support, I feel I am in safe hands running my first self-employed business - everything is seamless and the customer service is brilliant! I can't rate them enough.”

Why should freelancers use the app?

According to the brand, you can save up to eight hours a week managing your business, whether you’re faffing with crumpled receipts or sending endless invoices.

You will be given real-time insights into cash flow to help make sure you pay staff on time with free dedicated customer support if you’re struggling to crunch the numbers.

As part of the Essential account plan, you can expect the below features:

  • Submit VAT to HMRC
  • Manage income and expenses
  • Prepare for self assessment
  • Get income tax estimates
  • VAT error checker
  • Track CIS as a subcontractors
  • VAT deadline reminders
  • Send invoices that can be paid in one click
  • Cash flow insights

The app will also connect to your bank so that you can run customised reports, snap and sort receipts, and track mileage. You can find the full list of benefits here.

How to get a huge discount on the app now

For a limited time only, the accounting giant is offering a massive 90% off the first seven months of an essential account - saving customers a grand total of £207.90.

The subscription is designed for small businesses or freelancers working with suppliers and is on hand to help manage VAT and income tax. So, if you dread tax time every single year, then the app could make a pretty wise investment. Just make sure to get a receipt.
